7 Habits of highly effective technology leaders

As more and more IT or IS is getting important to current commercial firms, it was very helpful to read this article for careful thinking about the issue, 'who is effective IT managers?'
The most rememberable habits aoing those 7 habits was #1 habits; "Business technology leaders focus on business models and processes before they focus on technolgy infrastructure or applications."
From time to time, we can witness this "ineffective managers" who do focus infrastructure or applications before they focus on business models or process. This trends naturally can happen because IT leaders usually have IT background career, so they might not likely take care of "the business model" as a major subject but only "IT infrastructure orIT applications" first, fianlly result in very "ineffective IT systems.

Another symphasized habits was " IT leaders should move toward the creation of business PLAESURE"! No doubt, IT leaders who have this babits may earn the most admirable reputation from the colleagues of the firm they work !

I agree with Mr. Ryu’s opinion.
After 1998, there have been a booming in IT investment in most of industry (ERP, CRM,,,). However a lot of company installed IT system just for following fashion. Some companies employed same people and performance even though introduction of IT system. I learned that IT is not a solution for business but tool for efficiency from this article.
