IT Doesn't Matter.

In a summary this article,
As the commoditization of IT, the opportunities for gaining strategic advantage from IT are rapidly disappearing. As a result many companies just waste their money for IT just following with their competitor.
Now is time to say how they invest in IT and manage their system.

And Writer recommend 3 rules for effective IT Management.
1.Spend less 2.Follow, don’t lead 3.Focus on vulnerabilities, not opportunities.

Of course, I agree with writer somewhat – Company needs to invest in their IT more effectively – but we also consider that IT still have many potential opportunities for creating many new business models like WIBRO, RFID and so on.

From IT, We can make our company to the Microsoft.

Sometimes people forgot why we install IT, IS in our company. When first stage of IT introduce in company, they would have a goal. They make a IT, IS for reduce labor cost, efficiency, fast collection data for decision making. However, does it continue in all company? I think the answer is NO. Some company develop their IT, IS for following others. We also think there is no ERP system in company, we believe it is small and old fashion.
In this article tell us very beneficial point. IT is useful tool for business undoubtedly. However it is dangerous that we trust blindly. As writer told us, we think “spend less”, “follow, Don’t lead” and “focus on risks, not opportunities”

This article has alerted me once more that the focus now should be "on vulnerabilities" rather than opportunities: I should think about the more efficient management of the existing IT, seeking areas to cut costs and risks and reap savings, rather than make additional expenditures for even more advanced IT.
